Belyahev left Saratov, but the rest of the small team went on in a saratov scene, where others joined them too and later founded Aquarius film. Output is small but of an exquisite intellectual and artistic level. Road complaints contains lots of references to the work of Alexandr Pushkin, and is in that sense intellectually demanding.
